although that may have something to do with George and Skye! It was nice to be amongst the first to have the Conifer Lake experience, and well look forward to popping down from Scotland again in the future

We are situated between the historic City of York and the beautiful market town of Beverley This area offers a wealth of attractions and activities- Pocklington gliding club offers starter lessons and is only a mile away, if you are into golf Allerthorpe golf club is wrapped right round us you couldn't get any closer, Allerthorpe also has a good local Dining pub that has the best food around and is only around ½ mile away, walk up to the top of our drive and just across the road you have Lakeland park with water sports and fly fishing, The Yorkshire Air Museum is only 7 miles from conifer lake and is a fab day out for Young and old, the local town of Pocklington is only 3 miles away and offers shops, restaurants etc and a market each week, also within 2 miles are the Burnby Hall Water lily Gardens this is a great place to visit , Historic York is only 13 miles and has a multitude of places to see , Throughout the summer, the great houses of Castle Howard, Duncombe Park, Rievaulx Abbey, Sled mere, and Burton Agnes Hall are all open to the public they are all within easy reach from conifer lake. Eden Camp at Malton is around 17 miles away (great day out) just up the road from malton is the town of Pickering you can board the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway to journey over the TV program Heartbeat moorlands towards Whitby. . Terms and conditions: Conifer Lake Camping: booking conditions: Bookings must be confirmed in writing by the group organiser by email, or letter. An initial non refundable deposit of 50% per booking will be required with the completed booking form Final payment is due the day of arrival. Conifer lake will be ready from 2pm for your arrival and we ask all guests to take there tents down no later than 12pm on the day of your departure Conditions and site guidelines: To protect the nature of the site, groups of more than 4 campers cannot be accepted unless they are a family group with children over the age of 12 years unless they have made prior arrangement with the management. We do not accept Hen or Stag Parties We do rely on everyone following our guidelines to maintain our atmosphere of peace and security. To ensure a pleasant and safe holiday for all, we except all guests: To Respect the property grounds and others guests. To avoid disturbance to other guests by arriving no later than 7pm. We have a quiet site policy To avoid excessive noise at all time, being quiet between the hours of 11pm and 7am. Dogs To be on a lead at all times, exercised away from camping areas, and any mess cleared up immediately. Open fires are not permissible but you are welcome to bring charcoal or gas barbecues provided they are raised off the grass, Suitably sited and attended so that they are not a hazard to other guests. Any persons engaging in drunken or excessively rowdy behaviour will not be admitted and/or asked to leave the site. Cancellation Payment and acceptance of the initial deposit for your lodge holiday or the fee for camping constitutes a contract. We would advise Those guests take out personal travel insurance for their visit.
Any cancellation must be confirmed immediately in writing. No refunds or reductions can be made in respect of accommodation booked but not taken. Customers will be liable for the cost of repair of any damage Liability Neither the company nor their employees accept any liability for loss or damage to any vehicle or other property belonging to any person or organisation staying at Conifer Lake.
