WE ARE NOW OPEN,
As from Thursday July 22nd 2010 Conifer lake will be open every day
The gates will be opened at 7am each day and locked again just before dark, we have placed a honesty box and payment booth at the side of the summer house (see photo) please use this fill out the ticket put one half in the envelope provided with the fishing fee and place in the post box keep the other half of the ticket for inspection, if you are fishing without a ticket you will be charged £10 at your peg.

Night fishing Thursday Friday and Saturday nights 8pm or 1 hour before dark to 8am, £12 for 1 rod £16 for 2 rods by appointment only, please phone Graham on 07766821836 to book a peg.please note night fisher people that would like to continue fishing after 8am must obtain a day ticket.
Please read our rules before you fish if you don't like them go to another fishery ,we are trying to make conifer lake a place you want to come back to for the beautiful serene and peaceful environment as well as the fantastic fishing , please don't take this the wrong way but its not a dumping ground for kids on school holidays children are welcome if they have an adult with them that knows how to fish himself and is teaching them how to fish in the correct way we allow 2 children only with each adult and the adult must be in total control of the children,they must not let them run around shout or disturb other people, The children must have good quality fishing tackle not a £2 rod with 20lb line attached to it like i have seen at some places .
Anyone breaking the rules will be asked to leave ,
Please DO NOT bring any keep nets , weighing nets or landing nets to this fishery , keep nets are not allowed we will loan you a landing net (only the net not the handle) they will be hung up on a line you will see them as you drive in please take one before you go to your peg then at the end of the session dip the net in the net dip and hang back up, please do not take it home with you ,
Conifer lake is now been run as a Day ticket lake for the general public ,HOW DO YOU FIND US Conifer Lake is located next to Allerthorpe village, near Pocklington, East Yorks. It's approximately 15 miles from York city centre. this is a secluded, peaceful, well stocked fishing lake,have a look on our detailed map and aerial view ,please do not use the post code as this will take you round the back there is no way in that way , Planned improvements: Along with the move to a Day ticket water we are looking in the next year to improve on-site facilities to create a first class fishing environment. We will work on improving the pegs and develop the fishery for disabled and lady anglers, | |
Our long-term objectives are to build a service block with toilets and showers ( This is now up ), and fishing cabins around the lake.we will also be applying for a small caravan site,
