This is for all our mates frends campers caravaners and fisher people who have been to conifer lake in 2011 a BIG THANK YOU for making it a great year happy christmas and a HAPPY 2012 , from Graham & Allison hope to see you in 2012 click on the text below to see what makes you happy Located in the wonderful rural village of Allerthorpe in Yorkshire, Conifer lake coarse Fishing and camp site is a great place to spend a weekend or a week or two fishing relaxing and watching the world go by slowly like it did years ago. The well stocked lake is set in 10 acres of private secluded countryside; we have five touring caravan pitches with electric hook-ups, and space for eleven tents some with electric hook-ups, If you want to dine out, or fancy ending the day with a few pints, there is the local pub and restaurant only a 20 minute country walk from site.

Conifer Lake has been one of East Yorkshire’s fishing secrets for decades, surrounded and hidden by trees - the lake is so secluded that in the past many a fisherman has had difficulty finding this beautiful, serene and peaceful fishing environment and given up!  | Graham & Allison who started the happyhutch company www.happyhutch.co.uk over 10 years ago have now fulfilled a life long dream they purchased conifer lake in late 2009 and now welcome all anglers , Caravan & Camping holiday guests , The Lake has 13 islands (of which 4 are accessible via bridges) there are currently approximately 40 pegs available for all year round coarse fishing. Fish stocks include Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Chubb, Tench and Specimen Eels. If you have been to conifer lake before march 2010 you will be amazed at the changes that have taken place , we have now had the road re laid this takes you down to the large car park accessible from the Melbourne road entrance (marked on the map), We have opened up the area to let the air flow around the lake, we have started to make the pegs safer , we have had a toilet block put on site and with more facilities planned for the future things are looking good down at conifer lake. please keep reading the news page. |
